We are thrilled to announce the launch of our ground breaking DuraMAX ECO black turf. Crafted from 100% virgin recycled polyethylene fibres, this high-density sports turf guarantees elite quality and durability without any compromise.
Working closely with our yarn raw material suppliers, DuraMAX ECO has been in development for over 2 years. Waste material from the extrusion and tufting process that would typically be sent to landfill, are now being carefully reprocessed to create a virgin recycled PE monofilament that does not compromise on performance, and helps ensure a more sustainable turf solution by creating this circular loop recycled fibre process.
The industrial waste used is carefully selected to guarantee cleanliness and performance, whilst ensuring the grade of polymer and yarn stabilisation package are of the elite level used across the Sterling product range. The tailored yarn recipe ensures optimal yarn performance and colour consistency, whilst in-house quality monitoring during the yarn extrusion process ensures the yarn continues to meet rigorously controlled yarn specifications.
Extensive studies have been performed on the new yarn designs, giving you the confidence that DuraMAX ECO will stand the test of time and deliver exceptional results for your sled track and sports turf needs.
DuraMAX ECO continues to hold the same performance standards as recognised with our core DuraMAX product range, whilst having the unique benefit of a circular loop industrial recycling process, so creating a more sustainable product within our range.
